That's cool! In the closest unit seen there's the Grenadiers, bottom left, and the band with the drum major out in front. It looks like three ranks with file closers (officers and NCOs)to the rear. This photo gives one an idea of the size and length of a regiment in line. Thank you.
It could be the sappers of the regiment (with a grenadier fur cap!) in the first place before musicians !Grenadier didn't wore fur caps since 1812 in the french army !
