Been going through old The War Illustrateds which were a part work sold at the time about the Great War. Part history, part reportage and a big chunk of patriotism make this a great read. Also there are plenty of photos and rather Gung Ho paintings. Some of these are great works of art - and Stanley Wood's stuff is particularly good.
