Pegasus WW1 French

Master pics here
According to the Michtoy blog these 1/72 later war figures are due to hit the shops soon. This is good news as there hasn't really been anything decent in this scale since Revell deleted their set - unless you count the old Airfix ones.

  1. Those look really good but "naked" without the backpacks.

  2. The backpack was left behind in combat from 1916 onward.
The regular 'assault dress' included a rolled blanket across the chest.
Sometimes in Summer 1918, infantry fought wearing the tunic instead of the long coat.
This is the best set of WW1 infantry on the market, too bad they missed the blanket roll.
