Britains Ltd American Civil War

These were around when I was a kid. I didn't have many and these aren't my pictures. I think they were swoppets from the 60s. They had separate muskets and water bottles. A high point of toy soldier production. Watch a video of them here

  1. Yes! I saw these as a child during a visit to Gettysburg in the mid-1970s, and might have had a few single figures given to me at some point, but of course I wanted enough for battalions and regiments. And lacked the cash as an eight- or nine-year-old. Saw a bunch on display in a glass case at a neighborhood toy shop in the late 1990s and looked briefly at them through the glass but had moved onto Napoleonics during the intervening years and was attending grad school by that point, so cash was still an issue. The ACW, in truth, is not really my area of interest, but it's still cool to revisit these figures again after so much time. Thanks for posting!

    Kind Regards,

  2. Very happy memories. I had about 30 in total including the cannon (but no limber). I played with them almost constantly.
