From Tony Campisi a soldier of the Mexican Army 1846-48.

Excellent portrayal. He says

'My attempt at a "generic" infantryman of the Mexican Army during the Mexican-American War, 1846-48.  I have a "levita" style tunic and cotton summer trousers.  This year I added a new shako plate, and made linen gaiters to wear with my low cut shoes.  However, as the gaiters are worn under the trousers they are barely visible.  I still have improvements to make, but I like how it is coming along.'

Great work Tony
