Rules for the Franco-Prussian war (28mm)

In anticipation of the Perry's 28mm plastics I was wondering what rules people used? Also the old War Games Foundry painting guide is here

  1. Black Powder II or Neil Thomas' 19thC wargaming work well for me. For big battles you really can't go wrong with 'Bloody Big Battles', which has a campaign included as well as the rules. However BBB does rely upon 6mm or 10mm figures due to the sixe of the games.

  2. Donald Featherstone, American Civil War rules which he used for the Franco Prussian War, published in his book War Games 1962
