Not that it matters but these were the first Civil War toy soldiers I had and I still think they're some of the best. Image from here where you can see the cavalry and later Britains CW. Later on Britains brought out a nice 'swoppet' range but I don't know, I think these were superb and are hard to beat. They used to do a great limber but I didn't have that.

Britains/Herald Eyes Right
Not that it matters but these were the first Civil War toy soldiers I had and I still think they're some of the best. Image from here where you can see the cavalry and later Britains CW. I have a good number of repros of the HERALD plastic figures plus the molds to cast them in Pewter. my father was a pewter smith and I inherited lots of scrap.

I had the Swoppet Civil War figures but gave them away when I went to college.
