Photos of ordinary soldiers of the 1870s

There's some great photos of ordinary 'grunts' or grognards of the F-P war at this Pickelhaubes.com forum. Any more out there? If you scroll down the page you'll see Danish and Hannoverians. Excellent images.

    Thanks for your latest postings. The portrait photos of the Germans make them look less like the "monsters" that propaganda would have us believe. The French are off handedly insulted today because of modern politics but at the time they were a force to be reckoned with and copied by other countries' military. The Germans did knock them off their pedestal in 1871 as we all know. The Pickelhaubes and Mausers in South American armies show that.
