The series was available in DVD recently, and at the time of showing had a large format book to accompany it. Very studio bound and wordy, but well worth persevering with. Can I also reccomend "37 Days", which was a play covering the period immediately proceeding the war.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great show that I remember our whole family watching each week....I must have been 12 or 13 at the time, based on 1974 being episode one.
ReplyDeleteWow - I have never heard of this series. Thanks for the heads up!
