River Queen (2005) trailer

Another film set during the Maori Wars is this one with Samantha Morton. I haven't seen it (thanks Seany for telling me about it) but it's just made my list. Wiki on the movie

    This IS pretty good with a beautiful actress and a jungle battle scene with troops using Snider-Enfield breechloaders. The ending reminded me of the ending another NZ history film, The Piano. Was she or wasn't she. Watch and see.
