Catalan volunteers in Morocco 1859-60

Following Paco’s query in response to my post yesterday about the Spanish General Prim, I have done some further research. I think that the soldiers in the unusual headdress shown following Prim in battle in Morocco are Catalan volunteers. Here are two further images showing these men and their dress.
