You will notice that the men have 3 band P53 enfield rifle muskets and the sergeant has a 2 band P56 rifle, as should be the case. The P56s were used by sergeants and also in rifle regiments. Further models included the P58 (naval versions) with a heavier barrel, that was also used for the P60, an upgraded version of the P56.
