While on the subject of Will Hutchison (author of books on the Civil War and Crimean) he has published a novel set in the Crimea 'Follow me to Glory' - read about it here including a sample chapter on the press page. It will eventually follow the heroes progress in the Civil War so it should prove interesting. Read about how the character was developed here.
