Had some interesting photos from Patrick of his illustrious relative
the first photo is from family's album , great grand uncle, Léon Barral, 4th Zouaves, just before the WW1
the second is some of his comrades in fatigue uniforms at Tunis (Tunisia) , caserne (quarters) "Saussier" at the same period
the 4th zouaves was formed in October 1870 and very active during WW1
