They look like one of the groups that do religious marches rather than reenactments. I checked the links to similar units that have musicians, children, and female members.
We have uniformed marching groups in the US that wear outfits like Revolutionary War and Civil War uniforms but don't do reenactments. The Lexington Minutemen have two groups. One wears the period clothes for reenacting the battle of Lexington Green every year. The other wears a costume from the Centennial in 1876 for parades.
I'm impressed that one of these Belgian Groups also dress as US Marines from 1875!

ReplyDeleteabsolutely ! it's a march group like so many in Napoleonic uniforms ! nothing to do with reenactors or reenactment, this group is just more "original"
