Battle of Novara (1849)


Today is the anniversary of this Austrian victory over the Piedmontese. Wiki here

    Good Lord that blog's theme music is annoying if you click around their pages. You can turn it off but it starts again!

    But it is a nice looking group doing an era that's obscure to most people in the States.
