BEF painting

FROM The Old Contemptibles - The Men of the British Expeditionary Force of 1914  
 William Barnes Wollen and was painted in 1918. The original is in the National Army Museum.
I don't put too much emphasis on the British experience as I don't want this blog to be too Anglocentric but this is a good painting.
